- Verify your identity for security purposes.
- Improve app performance and provide technical support.
3. Data Sharing & Disclosure
- Emergency Contacts: Your location and status are shared with your chosen contacts during an active SOS event.
- No Sale of Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or location data to third-party advertisers.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by a valid legal subpoena or to assist emergency responders during a live event.
4. Data Retention & Deletion- Location data generated during an SOS event is stored only as long as necessary for the safety event and audit purposes.
- You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the app settings or by contacting support.
5. SecurityWe implement industry-standard encryption (AES-256) to protect your data in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.
6. Children's PrivacyIn compliance with COPPA and Texas state law, we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without verified parental consent. If we learn we have collected such data without consent, we will delete it immediately.
